IBOB, and the morning after our sleepover 8.3.2014

Such a pleasure to have witnessed our students competing with three other schools.

Before the countdown, the adrenaline rush very much created an inner fire that kept us warmed up and perspiring, in spite of the chilly night outside the senior library in the lower building.

Y8 Intellectuals; no, not all book lovers are antisocial, on the contrary, we are a thoughtful, fun loving and caring team.

Score sheet:

The enthusiasm and team spirit of our nineteen students plus four staff members kept everyone awake long after the battle.

Thanks to our 'seniors" and team leaders Christine Ra, Alice Gunn, Julius Mayer and Luke Shaw for stepping up and leading our IBOB team.  Nicola Sharp, Sophie Ng and Justin Kui for bidding for your special responsibilities to help us succeed.

More gratitude to Mrs. Catriona Woodrow and Mr. Philip Moore for being library lovers and sacrificing their Friday evening to support our students and library team.

Staying focussed and calm during the battle

Thank you to our Senior Management for your trust and facilitating our sleepover. We learnt a lot and enjoyed the opportunity to expand our skills and knowledge; to take risks and accepting the challenge to battle against British School in Ecuador, American School in Honduras and French International School in Hong Kong.

Merci beaucoup Monsieur Bryant McEntire of French International School.  Your commitment to make your "baby" work and hosting our battle from an island outside Hong Kong is much much appreciated. Our students benefited from your swift and clear guidelines. Honduras and Ecuador, keep up the good work, and as we say in Cantonese: "gar yau" meaning something like "step up and continue to give more speed", your courage to participate from afar makes us all winners.

Morning after sleepover; Mrs. Hirt, the first parent to join our special breakfast and share our happy feeling of achievement.
