The Hong Kong International Literary Festival 15 - 16 March 2011

Poet and songwriter Benjamin Zephaniah dazzled us with his wit, humour and outgoing personality. His poetry seems simple yet invites you to reflect and look deeper.
What tension and excitement in the audience. Mesmerized, none of us wanted the sessions to finish. I especially loved his story about the library as a dating place for intellectual boys and his poem dedicated to his mom.
We all came out from the Central Library totally exhilerated and changed. What a man man. Young and old laughing and singing with him. Don't worry, be happy!

Edith Yeung, Y8 says "Benjamin is inspiring". Robert Liao, Y8 states that "I have learnt not to trust people blindly, no matter what they say".

Chloe Cheung, Y9C, comments that "Benjamin's words can change your perspective of things".
